I mentor a young 13 year old from Chihuahua, and this is his family's favorite place to eat out. He is very particular about Mexican restaurants. His mom is the best purveyor of las comidas mexicanas.
This was a terrific place. The wait staff is very open to "letting you" practice conversational and restaurant Spanish! I am a vegetarian and ordered huevos rancheros. My wife had a torta al pastor.
The place was packed with Latino families, the furniture was nifty, all in all I recommend it!
The vegetarian options are probably there, will continue to investigate.
